You can go beach or rock fishing on Fraser Island; fishing in the deep sea or off the continental shelf; chase a diversity of estuarine species in the creeks and rivers of the Great Sandy Strait or the four rivers which become the bur rum confluence.

There are a range of charter vessels that cater for your every need. The variety of fish species is also spectacular, ranging from garfish to marlin and including some of the best table fish around like red emperor, mangrove jack, barramundi, whiting and bream.

The M.V Daytripper is a 12 metre passenger barge with a shallow steel hull and drop down gangway designed and built for unparalled access to the tidal waters of the Great Sandy Straits and estuarine waterways around Fraser Island, the worlds largest sand island.
